Second TBS tank! Good stuff!

My husband is on his way from Cleveland airport bringing Part 2 of my little TBS Package for my 24g anglerfish tank.

Part 1 was installed back at the end of August then the hurricanes hit so Part 2 has been delayed, but it will be in the tank tonight!

My first experience with TBS was setting up my 65g back on April 21st, so that tank will be celebrating its six month anniversary next week! Here are a couple of current pictures. I think it's beautiful!

And here is my anglerfish tank. The fish is already in there. I've not had a problem with cycling before, so I will follow my previous procedures, and keep a very close eye on the tank.

Richard told me he's included some extra critters for my big tank...what a guy! Thanks, Richard, can't wait to see what's in the boxes this time... Christmas in October! HEE!

I also have a third setup; a 29g JBJ biocube that is an anemone/clownfish tank. I will be putting part of the Part 2 in that tank, too, to fill in some bare spots. Pictures of that to come!

Thank you! I think I owe the beauty to the rocks! Richard outdid himself, again!

Here's what goodies he sent me, in addition to really nice little rocks that are loaded with cup corals and brains and barnacles and mollusks (and who knows what else!):

christmas tree worm rock
red flame scallop
four peppermint shrimp
a really cute blenny fish
a zebra goby
a ton of hermits
a ton of astrea snails
two gorgonians
a live clam/oyster with a wild and crazy sponge on it
a variety of macroalgaes... several shaving brushes, and some I need to identify.. all beautiful.. really add interest to the tank!
a GORGEOUS rock/flower anemone orangey-pink with complicated tentacles
an odd clam/mollusk with bright yellow mantle and a small one with a white mantle
two cucumbers, and one is like four inches long! Huge!
a serpent star

I was VERY busy last night acclimating everything. It's hard work but SO MUCH FUN. I will get to pictures sometime today. I doing "real work" now, but I promise I'll get to the pictures.

Okay, I took some pictures. I'll qualify the quality by saying this: these cubes and their curved glass give me fits when taking pictures! lol AND, I obviously need to change some settings I'm unaware of in my nanocube that has HQI lighting... every has a greenish-yellowish look, so please look beyond that, okay! lol

Here is a FTS of the nanocube after adding goodies from Part 2

And a FTS from my Aquapod after doing the same. I do think I'll do some rock re-arranging in this tank. I have to gaze upon it for a few days before deciding what to do!

Thanks, buccard!

So far, no ammonia detectable in either tank. Nitrate was on the rise in both, however, so I did a 3g change on the 24g aquapod, cleaned the skimmer, cleaned the sponge, and did a 4g change on the 28g nanocube, cleaned the skimmer and the sponge, too.

Both tanks are crystal clear and everything looks plump and happy.
