Secretary and Tresurer positions

Hey Everyone,

Just wondering how we are going to get these two spots handled?

We have just Ryan in for Treasurer and both Jeremy and Ryan for Secretary. Do you two just want to be put into spots or...???

AS it stands i need to talk with Billy and Slovan before I run for anything. Basically, I would like to be secretary again but will totally depend on the workload. As most of you know I am pretty dedicated to the club, but with the kid on the way there may be times where I can't be at the helm. I plan to talk to Billy this evening or tomorrow and I will let you know my decision then.

I'm up for anything. It sounds like the treasurer job is largely on autopilot now due to the improved GIRS site functionality, so if it happens that we want to try combining the treasurer/secretary positions for a year I'd be willing to give it a go. Do hope Jeremy decides to do it, but I don't know that I'd try to do ANYTHING on top of having a baby.

Hey Jeremy, It sounds like Ryan will also be assistant Secretary for when the kid comes if that helps. I will also volunteer to help out with either position. I would imagine Craig (xroads) would be willing to help as well. don't mean to speak for you though Craig.

Thanks for the support guys. I would really like to run, i just need to find out what el' presidente' has up his sleeve. Basically, the biggest concern of mine is time management. If I can keep the workload down, which the new web page developments will take care of for the most part, I am all for it. I just want to make sure we are all on the same page before I say yes or no.

Alrighty then, just got of the phone with Sone and Billy. For the most part it sounds like we are on the same page so I will be running for Secretary.

As far as combining the positions of secretary and treasurer I still think it's a pretty good idea. What do you guys think? For me it would be a lot easier, this last year was a real pain, I had to mail everything down to brad, then he had to mail it back,combining the 2 positons would be less work and save quite a bit of time.
