Securing PVC returns?

I plan on running 1" pvc with lock lines and have it sit on the back of the tank. How would it be secured?

I just use a street 90* and fit it so its fairly snug over the rim of the tank

The stick on zip tie bases and zip ties. You can find them in the electrical section at HD or some screw in plumbing mounts and screw them into the back of your stand.

These? No problem with the adhesive?
