Sedra 5000 on ASM G-2

My Sedra 3500 died on my ASM G-2, so since I was buying a new pump anyway I was debating upgrading to the 5000. Does anyone know if this will be a problem. I think the fittings are the same size etc, correct?

no they are not the same size. you can get the part at home depot for a dollar
