If you want to know what is what just refer back to the other thread.

wrasse

wrasse

There are quite a few out here, but they are hard to catch.

The little beggers are serious ascape artists as well in the tank.

I won't keep them any more, when we i get any i give then to one of the clubbies.

they just find a way out of my tank!

damn i just got three choati leopard wrasses and now you have to show me the next fish on the top of my list ! they are so spectacular and i have never seen one for sale ,i will have to get with my california supplier and see if there is a chance of getting any of them in .just in case you catch a dozen or so let me know , i will write you into my will ,lol ! thanks for the excitement though ,wow just to actually see a picture is so cool .i have to sell everything and move to australlia soon !

cool

cool

I don't blame you they are a pretty fish.

They are exported out of here.

The collector on straddie island sends a few out,i would think so anyway.

There must be a supplier that can get them in,they are not just from the middle of the east coast of Aus,fiji has them as well.

Here is a bit of stirring,so don't get angry.

The last time Dave,Jay and i went out for a few fish as such, three weeks back,i saw three and didn't bother as for one of them in time taken i can get four other things.

There are a lot of angelfish around this year and they are far easier to catch than the south seas wrasse(femininus).

The cooler water that they like is very common along with the warmer water in the shallower waters now.

The global warming affect has made for some dramatic thermoclines here these days.

this is giving us warm water species and cold water species in one area all the time now.

The amount of fish life here now is getting out of hand.

Most dives now you have to scare the fish away to see anything.

Between the green zones of no taking adding very populated reefs and the temp changes, there will be a heap of encouragemnet for the maneaters to be more frequent like they were a long time ago.

The government is hiding what is happening out there, the white pointers in moreton bay are coming back to what it used to be and will get far worse than it used to be with those thermoclines and the green zones to feed them.

A prawn trawler operator in the club years back spoke of a white so big it pulled his masive prawm trawler to one side a bit until the cable snapped.

They thought the sharks at the back of the boat might be a bit of fun to catch one on a full tuna as bait, they didn't do that again andd he never came diving withus again.

Sorry to go on about the sharks, but the ocean around here is going to get very dangerous soon and the huge number of learner divers out there now won't stand a chance if a big noah shows it self.

thanks for the insight ,i will try to pursue the fish still but it sounds a bit hairy down under thease days ! good luck with your endevers and nice photos ,keep them coming .

thanks mate

thanks mate

I am very concerned about the unknowing people that are around these days,on holidays as such.

There has been a death because of this allready around here and the public were lied to as to what it was that did it,for tourism reasons i assume.

I will put our trips on one after the other soon with a fews days gap between each.

see yah.

wow keep us posted here in the states ,we are always interested .that femininus is on the top of my list ,i will have to get to the under area soon !
