seio 820

could someone show me a pic of there seio 820 in there tank so i can see how it fits on the glass, i have mine on the suction cups it keeps leaning off & the flow needs to be close to the top of the water,

I did a simple mod for this one (another one is mounted on a mag float). For this mod, I used the mounting bracket that has the two suction cups and allows you to hang the seio over the edge of the tank. I drilled a small hole in the swivel bracket and used a zip-tie to secure the swivel bracket to the mount. The suction cups simply act as shock absorbers to keep any vibration noise down. The pump is silent mounted this way.

i seen that but then the flow was still not @ the top i was trying to see how i could get it to make the ripples on the top of my water,

crumbletop is that a 820 that dont look like mine, i just sak paint bug about glueing it to a mag float how is that done? take every thing off the back?

That is an 820 with the square housing taken off of it. You just pull off the housing. I glued a swivel bracket to a magfloat using marine epoxy. Worked great! I'd recommend using a magfloat 350. I used a 125 and it works well, but the magnet can loose hold if I try to move things. A 350 would make it a little easier.

ok i got the housing off but what about that deflector its still on, when i screwed it off i could see the blue thing inside, yours still has that ridged turn thing on it, mine came off when i turned the whole thing,

Marking this so I can put up pictures tomorrow if I'm at home.....

Basically use the "U" shaped piece upside down, slide the pump down one side, and the over the edge clicky bracket on the other side, but I think you have to turn the clicky bracket around so the flat edge is on the outside.

It's hard to see without pictures. It took awhile to figure it out but everything pulls down and tightens everything, nothing can wiggle out or fall off unless something pulls up on it.

will my tank be ok with the seio out? or should i put it back in like it is, the housing off but the directional snout still on, i need to get it back in right?

I pm'd you back. Yes, the deflector is on there pretty tight. You'll have to pull pretty hard to get it off.
