Need some help here I can get (2) New Seio 820's shipped to me for 93.00 is that a good deal??

Thanks

That's a pretty good deal.

You may want to check around here 1st to see if anyone wants to get rid of one or two, if you're willing to go used.

I paid $35 shipped new for my 620........so it's not awful. Looks average, but you can get it cheaper if you wait and look.

Are you looking at these for your 90? If so go with the 1500's.
I'd have to agree! I had 820's in my 75 and really didn't seem like that much flow at all.

I have the 1500's on mine and at 3 ft tankyou would think it was too much flow. But with it being in a approx 4" flow it is so much different than coming out of a 1/4" outlet like a maxijet. Even softies are ok with it.

I still can't figure it on mine...every time I try to open my 1500's up in my 120, I get drifting sand and a hollowed out trench along the front. I have them aimed as much towards the opposite front corner as is possible and the two flows cross each other, but I still get it. Only thing I could think of would be to put some rock or something out there to help hold the sand, but kind of defeats the open area look I wanted up there.

i got a seio 2600 for my 165.
it only blows about 1/2 though the tank.
wish i had just gotten a tunze.
the vets on here were right!

just got 2 2600s for my 90 .

had two spare hagen magnets so im epoxing them tonight.

alreaddy hooked them up . positioned them and thier not too bad.

its really not like a maxijet. because the dispersment is wide like everone says.

they are a little bulky but. on ebay for 3 bucks more a piece compared to the 1500s i figured i would try them

. i think i am going to like them. i would recommend on the 1500s or 2600s to use the magnet mount unless you use the hang on bracket. which does not come with the 2600.

mine moved a little deatris around that was at the base of the rock. i just moved a few softies around i think i am going to be reall happy. my sps frags should love it.

the fish love this flow though. it make them look like thier in the ocean swimming against the current. which ive heard is good for them as well.

i like them veryy happy

I can't wait to see what SEIO does with the controller. I would love a cheap alternative to a tunze that was actually controllable. I just can't justify the price when the 6000 really is too much flow for my tank.

Won't the Seio controller only control them in parallel? i.e. both will ramp up and down at the same time. Seems like it would be better if they mirrored each other instead.
