Selling: APC UPS Battery Backup

A couple of weeks ago I bid for and won a lot of four used APC UPSs for surge suppression and battery backup. I only need two of them. I use them for power conditioning, ground fault interruption, and battery backup for brownouts on my aquarium equipment.

Is that thing capable of keeping a mag drive 7 running for a decent amount of time? I looked up the specs from your link , but I dont know how much power a mag drive 7 pulls as I dont have it yet.

My guess would be 15 - 20 minutes, no more than 30.

Didnt you say they only run like 2 powerheads for 5-7 mins, good for a power surge or something like that ???

Depends on the wattage. It's just a guess.

I know there's a formula to figure it out, but I don't know what it is.

In any case, it conditions the power all the time and protects against 'short' power outages.

I don't. I didn't get instructions with them. I'm pretty sure you could find manuals in PDF on APC's website.

Not 100% sure now, sorry. I dont know if this will be useful for what I was looking for. I will be getting my Mag-7 today I hope. I'll figure out the wattage and get back to you on it.
