selling my tank stuff for sale

Its not base rock... Its definately premium Fiji... I have a bunch in my tanks... The only difference is that it was initially dry "dead" rock... Its been set up in his tank now though for 3 or 4 months... So it should be well cycled by now... It just might not have that much coraline on it yet... Just another FYI... I think you can tell from the pics that its not base rock though...

Rhandy is correct. Perhaps I was incorrect in my description. This is very nice fiji rock. It was bought dry but now has 4 months of growth on it. It would be a nice addition to any tank. It's first come first serve with the exception of a hold for sjp_30188 of at least 60lbs. I believe that leaves another 40-50 in the tank and another 10-15 in the sump (little growth on this rock) and dry rubble in my garage.

Yes Marco rock is PREMIUM Rock. It just comes dead and you cure it and when seeded comes alive again. I would put Marco rock up against any LR available. It's porous and lightweight for its size.

In that case, I might as well go for it. I am just paranoid about hydriods taking root. If you saw my tank at home, you'd understand. I've put in old coral skeletons before and they are the first to be covered. But, as you say, this rock has had 4 months to seed. Put me back down for 10 lbs from the tank -- I just need enough for an island in the middle of a 10G tank.

BTW, where do we meet to pick up this stuff?

Donna,

I believe one or both of the trash cans will be sold today but if only one is sold I will hold the other for you.

The pepperment shrimp are still available. If you want both I can try to take them to the meeting but I can't guarantee I'll be there since I'll be coming back from out of town. If not, you'll want to have someone pick them up for you.

it would be good for me if you could bring the shrimp to meeting, because I'm unable to drive. If i need to pick them up I could only do so on a saturday or sunday, when Stefan is off work.

One Trash Can is left. I have another person interested in the shrimp also. If you would like me to hold them for you please send payment through paypal and they can be picked up at my home this saturday but I'll need a definative time for pickup since this is my day off from work. I'll likely miss the meeting next week unless I can be back in town in time.

the livestock is a little more fragile because i'm selling equipment and I want to leave them in the tank as short a period of time as possible.

Thanks,
Adam

Several Folks have picked-up their items already.

I've decided to hold on to everything I haven't already sold for when I start reefing again.

Thanks for all the interest!!!

I just picked up one big rock. It has a good shape to it. Thanks, Adam.

I am sorry you have to break your tank down, but I am glad I got to see it before too much was gone. It looks like you were on your way to doing things the right way. Perhaps in the future you'll get another chance.

Bonus: I found about a dozen tiny, baby black snails (could be ceriths of some sort) crawling on the sides of the bucket I carried the rock home in. I thought it was dirt at first, but if you look close, they are definitely snails. And, while taking a typing break, I found a tiny white one crawling in the bucket that looks like an astrae. Does this happen all the time? I don't think I've ever see baby snail in my tank at home (although, I now find 1" brittle stars by the dozens under my rocks).

I have thousads... And seeing as he seeded his tank with some of my LR, I'm sure he has thousands... As I'm sure you'll have thousands now Scott... ;) Especially without that Eunicid... :D
