Selling Off Livestock

Hey Guys, unfortunately I need to get out of the hobby for how. Recent financial issues are forcing a few changes in our life and I need to get out for a while. I really need to get the tank tore-down and into storage within the next few weeks, so I need to sell-off all of the livestock ASAP. As you can see from my pics (in the gallery) the tank has an Aiptasia problem which I’m currently fighting. I have a few pics in my gallery, which are very small, but I can email larger pics for anyone interested.

1) Green Favia â€"œ $30
2) Brain Coral - $30
3) Green Candy Coral - $30
4) Green Carpet Anemone â€"œ $60
5) Mushroom (Rhodactis Inchoata) â€"œ $30 - I would prefer to sell with the rock they are attached.
6) Unknown Mushroom Colony â€"œ $20 - I would prefer to sell with the rock they are attached.
7) Several Toadstool Leather Frags â€"œ $10 - I would prefer to sell with the rock they are attached.
8) One is very large (Approx 1ft in diameter) - $50 - I would prefer to sell with the rock they are attached.
9) Crocea Clam - $60
10) Sea Cucumber â€"œ $10
11) Maroon Clownfish Pair - $30 for pair
12) Foxface Rabbitfish - $20
13) Yellow Tang - $20
14) Kole Eye Tang â€"œ $20
15) Algae Blenny â€"œ $20
16) Approximately 200lbs of live rock which I will let go for $1.50/lb once clean from the Aiptasia. My plan is to pull the rock from tank once the corals are sold and scrub it under fresh water since I’m short on time.

I live in Longmont if anyone is interested in dropping by to take a look. And let me know if anyone has any question.

Thanks,

Brian

I will try to get pics of the anemone. He recently moved to an area between the rear glass and rocks so he's not as visible.

Hey sounds Scott. I know it probably sounds odd, but I'm not totally sure what is left in the tank as far as the clean-up crew is concerned. As you know over time those critters tend to disappear and I haven't added any new additions in probably two years. But, you’re certainly welcome to anything as far as snails, hermits, etc that we can find.

Brian,

Well its a bummer to see you getting out of the hobby. I know things get tough, especially in this economy. I still remember where you live, you going to be around tomorrow?

Thanks,
Scott

I have had several people asking, but not many have actually showed-up to look, so basically everything remains except the kole eye tang. At this point everything is game until people actually show.

Also, I apologize if I missed any PM's. I had received several and I might have missed replying.

Thanks for asking.

I can be reached on my cell at 720-270-7295.

Hey Brian,

I am leaving Estes Park tomorrow morning and intend on coming through Longmont. Is there any way that I could come by tomorrow? I am interested in the big toadstool and possibly some other livestock.

Sounds good Marcus, I should be home all day. I will update my post as far as what items remain, but the toadstool is still available.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that I injured my eye yesterday working in the garage and had to go to urgent care. Fortunately it was only a scratch but the doctor said to take it easy for the next couple of days so I think I should "stand-down" for now as far as selling livestock. I should be available sometime this week if anyone wants to stop by. Sorry for the iinconvenience.

Sorry to hear about your eye Brian, even a small scratch on your eye feels like a huge gash. The mushrooms are looking great, they've all opened up nicely, as did the small toadstools. Thanks man, feel better.
Mike
