Selling system

OK, sadly, it is time I start selling the system whether whole or more likely in parts.

If one wants the whole deal, I will let it go for $900 just to have it gone. That would include the 90 gallon tank in perfect condition (less than two years old). It is drilled with two glass holes overflows.

It would also come with a commercial wood stand, 30 gallon sump with baffles, mag 9 return pump, Octopus r100 skimmer with gate mod, lighting: customized hamilton VHO housing with two 175 halide lamps and a blue wave external ballast. A ton of other stuff would be thrown in as well - powerheads, dj power strip etc., etc.

Also I have abot 100 lbs of live rock which I will sell for only $2 per lb. i am selling it cheaply to get rid of it and because it is infested with aptasia. However, a file fish could be employed to get rid of them. That worked beautifully at the zoo tank.

I would sell the whole system with live rock for 1K or best offer. This would be a great "turnkey" deal for someone looking to get started or upgrade.

Otherwise, I will start pricing out components. Feel free to make inquiries on components pricing.

OK, no no one appears interested in the whole system so I am willing to part it out.

So first things first...anyone for live rock?

I am going to be in bighamton on sat I have 2 JBJ 1600 gph power heads with the jbj wavemaker duo. Im interested in trading for corals.

Just mentioned to one of my friends about the return pump and they gave me one :-P I'm going to see if thats enough extra flow for the tank before I get more power heads sorry. (I feel kinda stupid now :-P)

Thinker1920 - No worries. Hope the new pump works out for you.

Reefjunkie: Sorry for the delay in responding. Yeah, 150 would take it all. deal of the century. Aptasia are all free:) The rock is quite nice though. PM sent.

i picked up the LR yesterday, the tank is nice! deep dimensions. i think 18 deep? looked nice tho, and hes a great guy, thanks again jerry.

OK, so the live rock is gone. Everything else is still available however someone did express interest on the whole system. If that doesn't work out I will gladly part the system out. I will keep y'all posted.

Tony (TrueBeliever)- You can come p/u your Ofcellaris and anenome if we can pry him off the glass.

Also I have Twin Spot tang that I will give free to someone who can provide a good home. He is about 4", very healthy and a voracious algae eater. Similar to a Kole Tang.

Hey Jerry if you have no takers on the twin spot, and would like it out, I'll take it... a little hesitant at increasing my bio load, but I haven't had any new fish in a long time (and lost a few over the summer)

I have room for more fish/critters in my tank but, everything in my tank is peaceful, and I'm trying to keep it that way :-P :-). so if you need a home for anything my tank is availible :-)

Sorry for the delay in responding folks. One person who expressed interest in the whole system changed their plans. Someone else expressed interest in the tank and possibly sump. The lighting is therefore definitely still available. I would sell the lighting which includes a Hamilton VHO enclosure, retrofit with halide moguls, a dual Bluewave 175 watt ballast, and a Ice cap 440 VHO ballst for $200. The bulbs all work but should definitely be replaced.

Adam: Thank for the offer to take the tang. I will definitely take you up on it. She is a sweet looking fish and I would love to be able to visit her in your tank. Just an excuse to admire your beautiful display.

Bobtail: To help your cause I would sell you the skimmer for $50 complete with pump and gate valve mod.

I will keep y'all posted as things develop. I'll have many other odds and ends to sell cheaply.
