Seneye playing up?

Hi. I have a seneye reef which is coming up to the last 3 days till the slide 'expires'. I got a warning this morning saying that the NH3 has gone from 0.003 to 0.500 ppm.

I've done a test with a Red Sea kit this morning and this evening and ammonia is showing 0. Nitrites also 0.

The seneye is in the sump in the same compartment as the skimmer which *may* have overflowed with slightly dirty water, but nothing that should effected it that bad.

Any ideas anyone?

That sounds like a bad ammonia sensor. I don't know what type of measurement the Seneye is using. Is it still showing 0.5 ppm ammonia, when the Red Sea kit is measuring zero? A temporary ammonia spike might be barely possible.

Hi. Yes ammonia reads 0 on Red Sea tests and also nothing on my Amonia Alert thing that sits in the water and changes colour if it goes up.
