separating a maroon clown from BTA during extended tank transfer.

HI all, I was wondering if there would be any repercussions to transferring my maroon clown to my new 90g tank from my established 30g nano. I would like to move the clown in now as its safe enough for him, but I think i have to wait a few months before the BTA could safely be moved.

Would either of them become stressed without each other? or would it be like a "distance makes the heart grow fonder" thing when they are reunited again in a few months..lol..
