Sept Meet Dates- What works better for you?

I'd like for the meeting to be a big frag swap. You guys just bring whatever you feel like trading out of your tanks, and trade it to someone who doesn't have it- everyone can go home with something new for nothing! Or, you can offer $ if you want... but trading is so much more fun.

I'll provide the food and tunes....

(By the way, I live in Bucksport. You can take the interstate to Bangor and then come up Highway 15 for 30 min, or you can go the coastal route from Augusta on Highway 3- an hour and 15 min)

The 17th or 24th (sundays) is best for me. But whatever is decided I will try my darndest to get there!

I would on the 24th possibly, not sure if I have to to work at Agway that dayand have already asked for alot of days off this month so I hestitate to ask for another.....it will be a hit or miss for me

Regardless, host it any day that is good for you and the majority...

Laurie, are you close to the coast? I wonder if it is too late in the year to get shrimp from the ocean ... that might be a nice side trip again... just a thought.. swapping frags and fishing for shrimp..

Yep, actually I live right at the mouth of an estuary. If I had a bit longer of a throwing arm I could hit it from my front yard. The back of my house is actually protected wetland. We have a lake that abuts us as well. The whole way from Augusta on Route 3 after Belfast you will be driving right next to the ocean shore.

I'm also trying to get some friends of mine to donate a big zoa rock, so that maybe we can frag it as a demo. So far, one guy says we can have it for 50% off, but I am holding out for an even better deal.

An update- Miguel (the owner) at FraggleReef.com has agreed to donate (Cost of overnight shipping only) a zoa rock to us to frag at the September meet. Anyone who comes gets a frag!
