ditto here... couldn't make Aug meeting due to illness. Interested in hearing plans for frag swap.

I'm working on it and Leah, Andy and Rhett is looking and talking to speakers at MACNA. For the frag swap.
I was going to try get eBay this month but they want to a BBQ for next month. So now I'm trying to get of BRD for this month.but every time I go by there they are closed and if I I get vmail or a lil girl on the phone I not haveing kidz myself. I don't know baby talk. Lol If that's a no go for this month I'll be asking for someone to host. I know brat and Lindsey they be happy to have us. But that a long drive for many of us.
So I'm hoping someone in the Nashville area volunteer there home.

Anyways just looked over on who is a member and who is not. And Mario you are not a member. If this is wrong LMK.
Also like to add you are more welcome to come to any meets but can't take part any discounts or raffles till you are a club member its $10 for the rest of the year til Jan 1.2011 then it's $20 after Jan 1,2011 for a full year.

Zef... As of This coming Thrusday, it will be 4 weeks Hypo. judsing form what ive read and seen, I FINALLY get to start raising the salinity. that will take a full week.

Worked like a charm bud! havent seen signs of Crypt in weeks. from what I can tell, I beat their lifecycle with the hypo and will come out in great shape. just been a long time. I have to order more salt to get the job finished. that or go see Fowlr2reef at his store here in Podunk and get IO.

Ive ordered from them before. good fast shipping. I may have to do that. Ive done well with the Oceanic in the blue buckets, so I may go that route. Even if E-bay is cheaper, for me, the cost of driving to Nasville is worth at least $30 round trip for gas alone. Factor that in, and shipping it in is the best way. Not 100% sure how much I will need to go from 1.009 to 1.025, but I only have about 1/4 bucket left. I think ill need at least 100 gallons worth or more. Im not puting freshly mixed water in, just remove a bucket, salt it up and then add it back. do one or two buckets a night for a week or so should do it.

Yea, either way, its a sale on the salt. I ahve done well with the Oceanic (when I actually used it) and I think that AC had it for that with the 25% that we got at the meeting last time. but it is 3 hours round trip to get there, and that is worth way more than the shipping costs.
budget is tight. I have no clue as to how much salt I will need to raise it back up, but im sure at least 100 gallons worth. I have about 50 gallons worth now in the bucket I bought last month at AC.
