Sequence Dart question

Can you run a Sequence Dart pump with a 1" intake and 1" discharge. If so what would the flow be and is it bad for the pump?

IMO, 1" is too small for this . Specially for the inlet which is 2". Such a small pipe will significantly reduce your flow due to higher friction and may cause cavitation problems.

When I spoke with sequence they said 1.5 was acceptable but 2 was prefered, down to 1 is a major jump down for the intake. The discharge side shoudl be fine, but why not go bigger, the pump can run it, minus well use it
