Sequence Marlin

I just got my Sequence Marlin pump in today.
However there where no instructions on the installation of it.

I was curious if anyone knows the best pipe size for the outlet?
It has a 3/4" npt outlet so do I keep it at that or do I double it? It is going to run a skimmer only so it will have to be reduced back down to 3/4" at the skimmer if that matters.

Wow, how big is your skimmer?

The inlet is 1" fnpt and the output to the skimmer is 3/4" fnpt.

Let's see a picture of the skimmer that needs 2050 gal/hr; I can't wait. It must be a beckett model.

So are you saying leave the output the same as it is on the pump? I know some pumps want you to make the output pipe large then the actual out put on the pump...i.e. mag pumps say to double the pipe size.

Yes my skimmer is one of those very energy efficient Beckets. :lol:
It’s not any thing special just a Trigger systems skimmer. It say it needs 1000 â€"œ 1800 GPH so I am over that bit I figured I can restrict it some it is getting to much water. I am a little worried about energy consumption so who knows I may which it out for a smaller unit down the road. The pump is a monster twice as big as my Dart pumps.

I would load a picture but I never took the time to figure out how to do that on RC.
