Sequence Saltwater Pumps (SW Series)

Has anybody used the Sequence (SW Series) Pumps. I want to get one to supercharge my diy beckett skimmer. It is a short skimmer that uses an 8" diameter main tube that decreases into a 6" inch tube that is connected to the collection cup. The skimmer is only 30 inches high. Does anyone have any experience with these pumps? How much wattage do they use and are they pressure rated to handle the becketts? I only have experience with Iwaki and Blueline pumps and they use way to much wattage as it is.

Thanks

I think the SW series are not pressure rated. You can find pump curves and specs for the pumps here:

You might want to look at the reeflo uno line; they are pressure rated. You could probably use a pump from the 1000 series, but those have 1.5" output. Limiting the 1000 series to 1" or less plumbing is going to cut the flow significantly.
