Serpent Sea Start (Red) safe with Tuxedo Urchin?

I am puting together a potential fish list and I am considering getting a couple tuxedo urchins (because of my hatred of coraline, especially on the back overflow). I am also considering getting a red serpent starfish.

I think I remeber from high school bio (or some David Attenborough Nature special) that star fish prey on sea urchins. Is this particular pair safe to put together? Or will my star dine on the urchins?

BTW, glad to see there are a few other coraline haters out there! :fun4:

None of my 15 starfish, mostly serpents and brittles, ever interacts with any of my 8 urchins. A big chocolate chip or red general might try something, but they aren't reef-safe in any way.

I have two urchins and a brown serpent star, and they've gotten along fine, but then again, I've only had them for about 4 months...

My star has only been observed eating shrimp and squid that I've cut up and thrown in the tank, and only seems to be active at night.
