Serpent star sperm or spawn?

Just witnessed my serpent star I just acquired by accident releasing a ton of white strands f liquid from its body. Had anyone heard of or witnessed this. I have video....

Kimberly, yes except it later for about about for or five minutes. Video is pretty long. I haven't seen serpent star since, it must have found a new place to hide...
