Serpulid worms

First, this is the best picture I could get. These things are tiny and the rock is towards the back of the tank.

I'm 90% sure these are serpulid worms. They've recently appeared and there are about 9 of them so far.

What can I expect and is there anything I can or should do?

Sorry I just cant make our anything from that picture. Looks like a surrealist's painting though.
