I just got this controler with DC8, Im trying to setup a wavemaker , how is this done? Does it mater which Plugs are used?

I beleive Switch 1 is on, everything else is off so Im assuming that it will accept commands from B1 - 8 correct?

It depends on how the DC8 is set up. You got to read the DC8 manual to see how the pins are set up. one up and the other down is set up for a I believe.

A B C or D

By default it should be A

With the DC8 it does not matter which you plug into because they are all the same. the EB8 have different plugs on the 4 and 8 ports.

This is what I have in the controller, what is OSC though?

Not true, the DC8 has relays for 4 & 8 as well - no high power devices on these or they will fuse. (don't ask how I know). There should be a tag on the side of the DC8 (or it can be seen in the manual you can download from www.neptunesys.com) that shows the dipswitch configuration for what the outlet codes will be for the unit.

OSC is Oscillate - in your code, you will have each pump on for 10 minutes, then off for 10 mimutes. Since one is set to be on and the other off, they will run opposite 10 minute cycles, one on then other on.

Read the manual that was shipped with your controller. It is much better of understanding what is going on instead of one at a time question.

Helpful much? Give the guy a break, if he bought it 2nd hand, he may not have the manual, or any idea where to get it.

I shipped him the manual with this. I would have to agree, I used to always ask Neptune or on the forums. I read the manual how to set it up and what the different function were, now I do not need to ask so much.

The manual gave me more of an education than one question at a time. If I got stuck I would ask ken or russ.

Yes I read the manual, the lowest setting is 1 minute for the pumps correct? I cant do seconds between pumps right?
