setting master/slave pumps

Hello everyone!
I have just set up two 40w in my 185g tank. I have managed to assign master/slave pumps with the drivers close to each other but when I place the drivers on each side of the tank ( 5.3 ft wide), the slave doesn´t seem to get any signal from the master. Do I have to keep the drivers close to each other all the time???

Hi Bob,

First make sure that there is no water between the drivers. If the path between them is clear and you are still experiencing problems, I recommend that you move them closer together.
