Setting up 225...now what to add (w/eel)

I have explored the idea of one tank does it all....to one water system does it all and have come to the conclusion...outside the ocean, it can't be done.

That being said, I am going to set up my mixed reef tanks, 2 of them, and a FOWLR tank on two seperate water systems. My plan is to use water change water from the reef tank to be the water change water for the FOWLR tank. Supplementing water changes with additional new salt water for the FOWLR tank due to the larger volume as needed.

Has anyone exerimented with this before? anything to look out for?

The other idea I have come to grips with is one (or three) tank(s) can't house all the amazing fish I want...Sigh.

My 225 is 72"L x 24"w x 30"t with a 125 as a sump. I already have a niger trigger and a SFE that were rescues from the acquisition of the 125. What to add... (Niger is 5" w/tail, and SFE is 18"ish)

my mixed reefs have small peaceful fish, and I want this tank to have a couple of bigger, appreciate from afar type, swimmers.

how many would be reasonable? suggestions are appreciated.

thinking along the lines of a larger eel, puffer, long horned cow, large wrasse. (am I limited to a zebra moray for adding w/ SFE or could any fish eaters co-exist with the SFE)

How is the CUC handled in tanks were the fish love the taste of snail and hermits?

lots of questions, sorry, want to do it right, rather then guess and toss fish in with the watch and see attitude.
