setting up a 26 bow anemone/clown tank

ok so today i went out and bought a 26g bowfront. i already had a 24" 130w orbit fixture so i figured what the heck. i would like to get one showpiece size GBTA and a pair of clowns(havn't decided on the species yet). i am deciding on a cpr hang on refugium or a skimmer, what do you guys think? i will have about a 1" sand bed, more? and 35lbs of fiji live rock, water movement provided by a maxijet 1200 and a minijet 606. i probably won't include any corals in this setup due to the anemones tendency to move around quite a bit.

Make sure you have a good cover on the powerheads. new anemones especially have a tendancy to wander quite a bit and it would be a shame for it to find your maxijet intake w/out a sponge or something on it.

as for the skimmer and refugium, i would do both :)
cpr makes a nice little backpack skimmer that would do a nice job on a tank that size and your refugium would help with nutrient export too... good luck!

A 26 bowfront I would go with either perc/ocellaris or a smaller skunk species. Be sure to be patient with the anemone it takes quite a while for a tank to really mature. I would consider a BTA or 2 for the tank. Possibly haddoni but then I'd stay away from perc/ocellaris and realize that the haddoni will take over the entire tank relatively quickly. I'd also suggest putting in an overflow and sump for stability.

i hightly doubt a carpet would even survive with my lighting, and i have way too small of a tank for one. i really like orange skunks, but i don't think they would host in a bta. there will not be a sump/overflow on the tank.
