Setting up a new 33gal long, have no supplies

Hi guys, I've been out of the reef hobby for a couple of years. I just got a 33gal long (48" wide) tank gifted to me from my SO that I want to set up as a reef tank some some soft corals only and a few small fish.

The only think I have from when I used to have a tank is my refractometer. So I am looking for someone selling parts, I'll need heater, powerheads, lights, filter/refug, live sand, live rock, etc etc The tank is not drilled reef ready, I do not plan on running any external sump or filter.

Does anyone in Chicago, or close by, have used equipment for sale? I need to stay on a budget due to having a baby soon.

Thanks!!:spin3:

Also taking suggestions on how to set up this tank

I live in Chicago, and I definitely like your SN, so I'm sure I can help you out. Did you get a stand for it yet? PM me your cell if you like to text or just stick to PM, but lately, the slowness has kept me away from logging in :p

Refrac: absolutely essential, so I think you're off to the right start :)

Thanks guys! I'll get a pic of the tank today, I don't need a stand, it is going on a large buffet we have.

Nice! I have other stuff too, just can't remember it all off the top of my head. Start listing what you think you want and it'll help me remember. Are you going to do an AquaClear HOB filter you think?
