Setting up a QT tank for SPS

i have AEFW and right now my sps are small enough were i want to take them out and put them in a 30g QT tank while i let the worms die in my display. Wats the bare min i would need to set this up to keep them. Lights heater, powerhead and some LR since i will be keeping them in their for at least 3 months. Do i need a skimmer or is that not nessacary since it will be only corals?. can frequent water changes be enough?>

AEFW is real tough to beat. IMO if you dont have that many sps frags I would just throw away what you have and wait 5 months without any acros in the tank so they die off. I might cost you more $$ and headach setting up a QT, I went thru the same thing with a QT to still find out I still have them in my DT but I had huge colonies so I felt more like i had to save them. I still think about starting over everyday....

yeah, i was thinking that but i have everything including lights , all i need it water . so it would be a headache but cost me just money to run tank with t5s and water changes. i do have a few larger colonies in my display, thankfully just started getting into acros and now my lesson has to be learned . gonna try to set this up, so is that enough or do i need all the stuff, dont need to have them grown just keep them alive and healthy till i can put them back in.
