Setting up my Lighting

Hey all. I got the Current USA orbit LED Light. It has the options to custom the time of day, which lights on are, how bright, and it has like thunder storm, cloudy, sunny, and moon light modes.

I was wondering, can anyone assist me what to set the lights too. As in, what time they come on, how bright, how long, how long they take to get to complete brightness, etc.

Here is a link to the light, so you can see the options it has.

Also, I am just starting out, no corals yet, but I will be getting some soft corals once it gets going.

i would try a 12 -14 hour day.

if it offers ramping ramp up four hours, then the down ramp 2 - 3 hours

I would have moon light ramp up as daylights are dimming down, and vice versa on the ramp up. moon light dim as daylight kicks in.

what Kelvin rating is the daylight? 10k evuivalent or 5-6k?

thunderstorm is kind silly. corals don't care what rain is LOL

brightness depends on what corals you want to have. SPS = BRIGHT LPS = Moderate to Low light (coral specific)
