Setting up my new tank

Okay,
I will be setting up this brandnew tank next week.
AGA 90 with overflow blk trim. Model 3 sump and Euroreef RS 80 skimmer. Couldn't make up my mine on the light. Should I go Coralife Hqi or Sunpod? I am going to look online as well as Lfs see where I can get the best deal.....any good pointers? Thanks.
BTW Anyone uses ozone unit? They claim you don't need water changes for at least 2 months.

I have the Coralight Aqualife Pro 250s and there is a guy selling some right now at a fair price.

Ozone is a good water clarifier, but I wouldn't use it to extend WCs. Two months is pushing it, and yes I have done it, but have noticed the tank degrade when I do and it takes months to bring it back.

There is no replacement for monthly WCs of 30% or more. You tank will be problem free and experience greater growth with regular maintence schedules.

The main benifit of the Ozonizer, is water clarity.....it will eliminate yellowing compounds that will keep you water crystal clear....combined with a skimmer, RODI water and carbon usage, you should have clarity next to none. Your ultimate goal should be....."Where is the water?"

UV sterilizer wouldn't hurt either........but buy the most lights you can buy, you will be glad you did........

I suggest 250w unless you are POSITIVE you don't want SPS then 150s will be just fine.

I would just do the 250W.

I was very positive i did not want SPS and now all i want is SPS

I would go 250 as well. I have a 250 on my 30 gal and I couldn't imagine 150 on a 90 gal. Besides, theres not much price difference and it's always better to be over prepared.
