Setting up QT and some ?s

I have bought and cleaned 46 gallon used bowfront tank for my QT because it was inexpensive and will afford my small six fishies room to move without all the rock and corral.

My tank is nearly topped with water, but wondering what the best salinity to keep it at? My reef is at 1.025 currently where the fish are kept. Should I get it to 1.025 and slowly bring it down closer to 1.021 (dissolved oxygen in tank) for fish health while I treat with copper or keep it at 1.025?

Since I will be treating them for some minor ich for 10 weeks shall I also use other meds to ensure all fish are healthy prior to re-entry into the reef DT? If so, can I use Cupramine, Maracyn 1 & 2, and Prazipro simultaneously? If not all together, how about mixing one or two in order to speed the process up?

Thanks again!

I never use an antibiotic as a preventative, but some folks do. We have a very limited number of good antibiotics available for our fish and I believe fish can develop antibiotic immunity, just like people do. PP and copper are often used together, but the mfg of PP says that this decreases the effectiveness of the PP. If you plan on 10 weeks QT, that's plenty of time to dose individually. I just don't like the idea of mixing meds. As long as you acclimate, I don't think the SG makes much difference. Fish do very well at lower a SG. But there isn't enough difference in that range to matter, IMO.

I may have missed something in the original post; listen to some NFL babble. If you suspect secondary infection from the ich battle; antibiotics are a good call. Sorry for the mis-read.
