Settings for streams on a swirl

Roger,

I set up my 6000 on a sea swirl so they rotate 90 degrees. They are set up in a 120 on the sides of the tank near the front. Before I set them up on the swirl, I had the controller set on interval 2 with 6hr interval with pulse setting set to 40% min and 80% max with 2s pulse.

What are your thoughts on keeping the setting if they are roatating? Would you recommend something else?

Thanks,

We don't recommend rotating them as it stresses the cords and can lead to the cords breaking or tearing. Having never tried this I don't have any input.

I have try the 6101 on the wavysea and i know exactly Roger talking about. The cord always wrap around unless you ziptie it really well and leave some room for the cord to move back and forth. But i don't think the seaswirl will last long with the Tunze mounting on it.

I saw one that was up for awhile and he did not have any issues with it. Hopefully, I won't either. It has been going for just 1 day and the tank is already clearer.

We guestimate the cord will last 2-3 years when the pump is oscillated and that is why we have never made an oscillator. The problem is the UV light from the MH hardens the cord, the movement causes the cord to break after it has hardened.
