Setup a New 125

SO I setup my new 125 Gallon Tank with some dead rock in it and a 6 bags of dead sand and a cup of live sand from my current tank.

The tank is still cycling.

I currently have a 90 gallon up and running, that has been up for about a year.

I am planning on moving over the live rock from this tank to the new one.

Will I be okay when the cycle is over?

how long will it take?

any way to speed it up ... it is going on 12 days.

If you moved your rockwork (if that's a significant amount of Live rock) to the new one your cycle should be much faster. In a tank with new sand and dead rock nothing would start the cycle. YOu could put in some stuff that should start a cycle but that would take longer.

I put in a 10 lb piece of live rock, and a cup of sand from my old tank

I plan on moving the rock from the old tank when I move all the livestock

is that enough to make the cycle happen....

my ammonia is already spiked ... just dont know when it will go down
