Setup for a new 65 gallon

Hi Roger,

I sold my 120G setup at the beginning of the year to help fund the wedding, and because I wanted to downsize anyway.

I ran two 6105s on the old setup for a few years, and retrofitted the skimmer with a hydrofoamer pump when the sicce broke down.

Anyway, always been very happy with Tunze, and will be almost surely be sticking with it for the new setup.

I'm trying to price the new tank. It will be a 65 rimless, dimensions: 36 x 21 x 20. I want to be able to keep everything.

What powerhead setup do you recommend? 2 x 6095? 1 x 6095 and 1 x 6055? 1 x 6105 on its own?

Would 1 x 6095 plus 1 non-controllable (like 6025?) work? It is price-wise the most attractive option, and I could upgrade to controllable when needed (ie fully stocked)

What skimmer would you recommend?

2 6095 is the way I would go for pumps, alternatively, you could go with a 6095 and a 6045 but since you probably won't stock it all at once, I might get one 6095 and add a second as your budget allows instead of getting a non controllable.

If you will have a good sized sump (20 gallons or more) I would get the 9410.
