sex change?

I bought a Blue throat trigger around 9 months ago. When I got him, he was beautiful! His blue jaw really stuck out and his fins had the bright yellow accents like the males typically do. Now his blue has faded slightly and the yellow on the fins is gone. Can somebody tell me why this has happened? He is only about 3.5 inches long so I think he is pretty young.

flakes, spectrum pellets, PE mysis, and he eats some off the algae clip.

I would suggest a female to help him show off his best colors. How big is your tank?

125. other fish include: yellow tang, hippo, powder brown, 2 occys and a mandarin. is it safe to get another trigger? all my tangs are about 3.5 inches. will one more be too much?
