Sexy Shrimp and hermit crabs ok?

I'm picking up 2 sexy shrimp for my 5.5 g reef this weekend. Will the hermit crabs I have in the tank harm them at all? There is one large crab which i think i'll put in my other tank just in case, but has anyone ever had problem with them? Also what should i feed them and how often? Anything else that they are not compatible with?

ok, but sexy shrimps shud be ok as long as the crabs aren't predatorial or starving. Large crabs shud definitely be removed, i had a big one that stole a large 2" cleaner from me. They should take food you feed your fish, flake, mysis etc.

I've got a 24 nano set up with sexy shrimp and gobies. I've got a good handful of hermits in there (blue legs, scarlets, halloweens, etc) and I've never seen any issues. I started with a 2.5, moved to a 5.5, and then to the 24. I never noticed any issues in the smaller tanks either, so I would say you're good to go. As long as you feed the tank often enough that the hermits aren't hungry, I think you'd be fine.
