Sexy Shrimp! Lol!

So im thinking about getting one of these...does anyone have one of them? Are they agressive or are they timid? Any experience keeping these? Would it get along with a cleaner shrimp and a blood red fire shrimp? Any random comments on them?

i wanted to get them too, but when i saw how tiny they were, i lost interest...i mean you cant see them unless you get up real close and squint

They are good in a nano. They are community creatures so I would recommend getting more than just one. OF coures you then have a better chance of seeing them. I order 3 from my LFS for my 29g.

They are very peaceful, tend to stay on or around anemones or corals. Best to keep at least 3, but they are fairly cheap. Most other shrimp will ignore them but some fish may eat them.

I have 2 in my 125 and can almost always find them. They stick around a couple of corals. They are my favorite shrimp and not agressive at all. Plus, you should see the looks you get when you point them out to people and say what they are.

Yeah I have two in my 125 as well. If you get a group of five that would look sweet and they do great in larger numbers. Very peaceful and don't bother anything. They keep to themselves.

I have four in my 20g. I really like them and wouldn't trade them for anything. They like to hang on corals, especially my frogspawn. The frogspawn isn't bothered by their presence but my sps do seem to retract their polyps when the shrimp are stomping on them.

My LFS sells them for $9 each. So the price wasn't too bad.

Those guys are awesome. My girlfriend loves going over to my tank and going "hey, all your little sluts are out," she thinks it's a cute nickname for them.
