Sexy Shrimp

I would like to add some shrimp to my tank and really like the look (in pictures) of sexy shrimp. But, I have never seen one in a lfs and don't see them for sale online too often.

I was wondering if there is a reason for this? Is there some reason stores don't carry these? Are they hard to keep or not reef-safe?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

One of my local FS has them , they are tiny little guys. Make great addtions to nanos, probably to small for larger tanks depending ofcourse what other pets you have in them.

I've been looking for three for about a month for my 20g. They are small. They would easily get lost in a large tank. Very cool shrimp though.

I have a 29 gallon, so I thought a couple of them would be a good fit. I am probably going to order them online since I haven't seen them locally in the last 6 months.

I had 2 in my 55g. My GBTA hosted them. They are anemone shirmp. I really liked them but they started picking at my zoanthids hardcore. It was to the point that none of them would even open. They would sit on the closed polyp and dig in them. Once I removed them the zoas opened back up. Other then that they were great.

Hmmm, that is a concern. Has anyone else had a problem with their Sexy Shrimp bothering zoas?

Tagging along. I've been thinking about getting a couple of sexy shrimps but the zoo munching habit sounds disturbing...
