Sexy Shrimps and BTA's?

So I have two BTA's, the GBTA I've had for a while now, the RBTA I've had for about a month. For some reason, my Sexy Shrimps have taken a real liking to the RBTA and are peeing him of a bit. He's out in the light but is constantly badgered by the shrimps and is not as happy or inflated as the GBTA. I've been dosing Vitamin C every other day and lightly spot feeding him as well, every other day just to keep him sweet.

What gives with the shrimps?

Its normal for the sexy shrimp to host the nem. Mine switches it up between my RBTA and some of my torches. My nem doesn't seem to be bothered by the shrimp.

Sexy Shrimps and BTA's?

Anything to look out for in an otherwise reef safe tank when adding sexy shrimp. Currently have a powder blue, yellow, and yellow eye kole tang, 2 clowns, 5 pajama cardinals and 3 fire fish and a blue damsel.

Hi,I added a rbta and immediately the two sexy shrimp moved in.spent a lot of time under its umbrella and seemed to only go between its tentacles during night.after about two months the two oscellaris clowns must have woken up and pushed the shrimps out.they seem to revel in basking in its tentacles.i have seen no visible effects from either of it's guests.

I love my sexy shrimp. added 4 but eventually got down to 2 in my 100gal. They were being hosted by the RBTA until a nasty maroon moved in. Now they get hosted by a small maxi mini anemone

assuming your tank is fairly large with those tangs, your biggest problem will be finding them. Place the anemone or long fleshy LPS in the front and they will usually host the shrimps. Without my anemones, I would never see those shrimps again.
