What's your interest? Healthy fish? Try Lucky Ocean, Exotic fish without the health? 6th avenue, combo fish/pet store (ie not really good at either) try Hung Ming, Steinhart is a "museum" (nothing for sale), Aquarium of the Bay is a tourist trap.. er attraction. I believe Aquaforest deals with high end plants for freshwater tanks.

If you want really good corals and the like take a trip over to the east bay or southbay.

I have only been the the 6th Ave shop. It's the nearest to my area and within the city. Alot of fishes and equipment, but not too sure about quality of corals cos i dont keep them. But i just visited New Alameda Aquatics yesterday and was impressed by their collections........ :bigeyes:

You should visit the Steinhart Aquarium. It's not a shop and they don't sell fish/corals, but it's more like a museum. They've got an awsome 2 story tall coral reef.
