Hi guys,
I'm sure it varies by species, but how much of a SG swing will phyto handle?
Wilkerson's Clownfish book mentions that a .007 SG change will stun rotifers, but the book never mentions how much the phyto can handle.
Up till now, I've had everything operating at 1.025. Now that I have rots on the way, I need to re-think my whole growing scheme.
The best I can figure is to grow Nanno at 1.017 for the rots and the Tetra and Iso at 1.025 for the copepods. If I dilute the Tetra and Iso by 25%, I will get the 1.017, which I would then feed to the rots.
Just not sure Tetra and Iso can handle a swing that large all at once.
Thanks for any comments.
Mark
