quick question. how shaded can i keep acan. lords/echinatas? my tank is a 72 bow that is 22 inches deep (the sand bed is 2 inches deep, making the tank 20inches deep) and it is lit by 4*54w T5 HO bulbs. right now i have i medium size piece of each all the way at the bottom at the bow where they recieve indirect but unshaded light. where they are seems fine for then (the a. lord has even spread new polyps) but i want to place then at the edge of a rock that rest at the bottom of the tank near the bow. so the the acans will by glued at an angle along the edge of this rock (the area itself is 3 inches tall) which is also heavily shaded by a large toadstool sarcophyton. here they will receive indirect, shaded light (again considering that some of the polyps will be at an angle on top of being shaded). will this be enough light for them long term? any help will be greatly appreciated. sorry for the long post.
