organism- I think you are coming off as a bit paranoid. Not everyone is out to sell stuff they post pics of. I have posted nice pics of my stuff and I am also a college student so all I can afford are frags so those are what I post. It did seem odd that the OP didn't respond for awhile but school can get overwhelmingly busy.

PR- love the pics and thanks for the tank info. What university are you attending? I'm pre-vet at U.F.

and if what you are implying is if these are for sale... they are NOT... I actually only have 2 out of 8 kinds of the z/p in the pics I could sell/trade if somebody wanted

ok, so they're not for sale, but they are for sale. Sorry that I was so paranoid for thinking they were for sale, thanks for clearing it up.

Agreed, not everyone is, but some you can spot from like a mile away.

thanks ... it's my favorite paly right now:)!!

First off, its not a Palythoa, its a Zoanthus.

Second off, Organism is right brother. I dont think he was out of line one bit. Picture/selling threads like this are highly frowned on by the mods and this community. Its is clearly stated in the forum rules. Thats why the forum sticky picture/video thread was implimented.

Your pictures posted look like they are fresh cut frags ready to go... You said several key things which raised red flags, as Organism pointed out... This may be the common over on r2r with the pricer gougers, but not here my friend...

For future reference, there is a sticky picture thread up top. The zoa forum is a discussion forum.

Thanks for sharing some of your tank info.

Good lord here we go again...

PR nice zoas, I don't give a rats a$$ what you do with them... thanks for posting the pics as well as the details of your tank.. I enjoyed reading your thread up until the non-moderators got on their high horses... I wish the REAL moderators would take care of the wanna be moderators.

I know, we're awful people for not wanting the zoanthids forum to be a bunch of shady look at my brand new frags I made that aren't for sale (wink wink) threads again. This dude said like 6 different times that they're not for sale while at the same time saying he sells corals to support his hobby, looks forward to trading/selling here, has frags that he pictured for sale, etc... Even posted pictures of the same coral on different plugs to make sure everyone knew that he had several of them.

Short of posting that they're for sale in all caps with exclamation points, he literally could not possibly have made it clearer that his frags were for sale and that he was trying to circumvent the forum rules by making them "not for sale (wink wink)".

A collective "picture show off sticky thread" was created to stop this.

wow... people here really stubborn love to fight over things that don't affect them...to me that's just hating! Does my thread affect you in any way?

Honestly I wanted to show off some of the things I'm keeping in my tank so I could build a reputation with people here at RC for keeping nice stuff!!
didn't know it would be such a fuss!

Mods..

after seeing some people almost flip out !!I'm curious as to weather I have broken any forum rules??

If so it wasn't my intention but anyways to avoid further confrontation please close & or delete... this thread! Honestly!

organism hope you can sleep better know:)

I'd say you're bordering on it yes. Posting pictures of frags only is always suspect. Mentioning you sell and trade to afford your hobby is generally a way to get people to pm them for sales.

In any case, people should report this instead of replying if they think it's off. Now this thread is closed.
