I have heard that Triggers cant go with Sharks, but what about a Clown Trigger? I was thinking of a Bamboo or Epaulette with one. WHat will he do, if he wont get along with the shark?

I have a niger and an undy with a bamboo shark...the triggers and shark don't ever come in contact and if the shark comes around the trigs they hide. The Shark proved he was king of the tank from day one.

This is from personal first hand experience...not heresay, which is what alot of people go by around here.

Atlantic sharpnose is the requiem shark. Smoothound is the Triakae shark but both are free swimming.
Thats interesting. Can you explain what the difference is? Does one need a bigger tank than the other?

all free swimming sharks need tanks in excess if 1000 gallons. I would avoid these in the home aquarium.

Well they are from different families, but triakae species tend to be less active.

Ok, I am now looking into an Atlantic Sharpnose, for my lagoon. They only get to be about 33", so it should fit nice. Anyone know where to get one?

I have been searching, and changed my mind to a Brown Smoothhound shark. Less active, and stay smaller. Better suited for my 350g.
