Shark Pond Vids

Between your in-floor, and the FOWLR across from it, I'm not sure which I'm more jealous about. What type of camera do you use? I'm going on a collection trip in The Keys with my boss the first of the year and have been looking for a good UW camera for the occasion.

I see your located in HH as well. I use to take trips with my family every year down there. Ghost hunts in Charleston, Fiddler crab hunting at 3 a.m., shark fishing, The big red Lighthouse, the "black market" gift shop with dino eggs and gator heads, and ALWAYS Charlies or the salty dog for dinner. Man do I miss Hilton Head...

That is absolutely amazing. Is there a build thread somewhere for the pond.

There's not a real build but click my screenname then look for other posts. I have some pics in the one titled:Finally, Some Pics of My Shark Pond & Build.

I basically just ripped up the floor, built cinder block walls, insulated it, put in a 3 mil pond liner, 600 pounds of sand, 600 pounds of rock. It's run by a 4800gallon mag drive pump and an ASM g6 skimmer. I put t5 lighting under the bridge, only problem is that there is no way to change the bulbs without going in with a mask and snorkel and its real tricky to get the cover off without getting electrocuted. That's why one side has been shut off for the last year.:uhoh2:

Great fish in both threads. Love the camera as well, just dunk it in huh? Pretty cool.

The camera is a gopro3+ black edition. I bought it mainly for diving. It takes great videos but I haven't been able to figure the picture settings. It got a little pricey with the underwater housing and accessories I added.

This has to be the best saltwatwr setup I have ever seen. When I saw the title I was hoping it will be this pond. I enjoy seeing your updates, keep them comming.
