Shaws Boxfish

i have seen them being kept 25 celcius, which is normal for other tropic fish, i was mainly wondering if they will eat corals? difficulty in keeping?

thanks

Mine is fairly reef safe......although he is in a cold reef with just anemones and a few cold corals. As you know, their natural range is off of Tasmania......a temperate area...... just like for the white bar boxfish that comes from off your home town coast. I've never heard of either of these boxes surviving long term in a warm reef....but, I guess anything is possible. As for compatability, they are no different than warm water boxfish....they're slow, they don't compete for food well, and the only thing that isn't safe with them is small shrimp and tube worms.
