Shipping Chaeto- Water??

when i ordered my snails from reeftopia.com they shipped them dry. There was jst a really high humidity level in the bag i guess (it was all fogged up) but there wasnt actually water in there...i got 60 of them and not a one has died since i got em'....so maybe you could do something like that? Maybe contact reeftopia.com and see what they say? I'd think you could do that...chaeto is pretty durable stuff...i left a piece dry for a day and it came back once i thru it back in the tank..but if it had moisture/humidity i'd think it'd be fine.

I send chaeto by post regularly in the UK. I use a small ziplock freezer bag, pop in the chaeto with a tsp of water and then carefully squeeze as much air out as possible before sealing the ziplock. Then I wrap that in another bag in case of leaks and pop the lot into a padded jiffy bag.

Sent lots like this and the algae along with any hitchiking starfish and bristleworms have always arrived at their destinations safe and sound, even if it takes a couple of days.
