Shock from lighting?

Hello All!

I am having a problem with my Toadstool Leather Coral. It has closed up for about 5 weeks now and will come out briefly for an hour now and then but is not as nice as when first bought. I did do a change from MH lighting to LED and it seemed to do fine for about 3 days after this then closed up. I think maybe it could have been shocked but I am surprised as MH lighting is fairly intense. I also worked the power from low to high on the LED's not high power at first.

Well.. If the only thing you changed is lighting and this happened right after than then you have your answer..
LEDs are very "focused" light and can be just as strong if not stronger than MH..

How are the rest of the corals?
Sometimes leathers just get "crabby" and can stay closed for a bit (but 5 weeks is excessive).. I'd just try moving him to a different location and see how it goes from there..

All the other corals are fine, although I did have to move my green stripe mushroom to another tank with MH. They didn't like it. My fuzzy mushroom is doing great under it so its kinda funny.

I did move him down and he seems to be coming back slowly just very slowly. The LED is focused more yes but I think it was the fact it was very hard to determine the right intensity with the LED to match what I had in my MH at first so I may have miscalculated that. I will add to this thread if things change. Thanks!
