I think it's coming from my heater. But when I touch the water in my sump I get a buzz and shock. I unplugged everything and plugged in one at a time. And I want to say almost for sure it was an old heater I got as a hand-me-down. It wasn't like "oh I feel a little buzz" It was ZAP!!
Now, while it was still on I felt my main tank and felt nothing. So I think it is centralized in the sump. Now, first off, how can I know for sure I have no other charge going through my water. Secondly, I haven't noticed any pods or anything in my sump anymore so should I assume they all went bye-bye. Also are there any long term effects of this, can I start repopulating my pods? I have chateo down there still and not sure if it's live or dead. It's still green though. What's my next plan of action.
I am not sure if this is related, but I picked up a used octo 150 cheap. And the guy I bought it from (trade to LFS and I bought) I know he is reputable, it's not making anything into the cup. Suggestions on the skimmer? or is it because I had a power-plant in my sump?
