Shooting thru bowfront glass

Hello pros :)
I'm trying to figure out whats the best way to shoot pictures thru a bowfront glass. I have a 28g JBJ nano cube which has a thicker curved front glass.

I'm trying to shoot pictures with a Canon 60D and 100 f2.8L macro. The lens is just unable to focus correctly.

Could it be the lens? The camera needing adjustment?

I agree with Bean, but I'll also say that it's really tough to get a good shot through bowfronts. FTS works pretty well, but the close stuff is tough. You'll get much better pics from the flat sides.

I agree with all above. I have a corner tank. It's bow is a bit more than a bowfront. You can try what's mentioned above, and also try to keep the lens as close to the glass and also perpendicular to the glass. It seems to work about 50 % of the time.

Thanks. Yup, I didnt get a chance yesterday to try it with the tripod. Just rented the lens for the week. FTS shots come out well, but close ups are not so good.

With it being a 100mm lens, its focal length is a little further than the depth of the tank.

Here's a distorted focus from the front:

And here's something from the side glass:
