I'm going to Binghamton on tuesday for the Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper concert are there any shops I should check out while I'm there .Mostly to browse I won't be able to get anything to my tank for about 8 hours or so.

Nice - I just can't stay up that late on a work night anymore - lol.
The only one that is easy to get to is a pet store named Creature Comforts on Upper Front in Binghamton. It's nothing special, but you can kill some time there. It's also in a area with a few places to eat and not that far from the arena by car.

From my experiences I cannot recommend Creature Comforts. Yeah, they have new cool tank but their personnel is clueless and unless you get one of the couple decent people there you will get the "greater than thou" attitude with a lot of BS mixed in. I avoid the place at all costs!

The only other place locally is Nature's Best on Rt. 26 in Vestal (you'll be driving right though Vestal.) The guy there is pretty knowledgeable and his inventory is well kept.

TB is right on with Nature being the only one with a good staff (of one) but his hours are probably not going to work for someone with a night concert. If your going to buy anything - Go to Nature, but for walking around - Creature Comforts works and has other cool pet stuff a lot of places just don't have.

Thanks for the advice guys.Concert Starts(?)at 6:00 will be in town 4-5 so i'll have an hour or two to kill, its early so i might be able to check out both.It kinda depends on the people i'm with .

Wow - I didn't think it would start to 9 or 10. Nature is closed on Sundays and Tuesdays. But if it is another day just take the exit off of 17 for 26 South (vestal). It is on that road and on your right. About 3 miles ??? Just past a gas station also on the right. It is is a really small "plaza" with a car repair type shop and a manual car wash. Owner is a good guy to chat with and will often be the only one there in the early afternoon.

I guess nature is out i'm going today (Tuesday),but thank you for the advice and i'll be sure to check them out next time around.
